Come back from a day on Beadnell’s huge sandy beaches, exploring local castles or eating out at one the local pubs or restaurants. Enjoy the stunning sea views or relax on comfy sofas in the stylishly furnished open plan living area. Enjoy the multi-channel TV and get connected with the super-fast broadband. The cool contemporary décor continues through to the two bedrooms and luxurious bathroom. The kitchen has all you need to turn some fantastic local produce into tasty meals. The apartment is on the first floor of a block of four flats. In the entrance hall you can hang your coats and leave your sandy shoes before going up to the spacious open plan lounge/kitchen area. There are two double sofas, a coffee table, sideboard, and a dining table with four chairs. There is a large-screen TV and DVD player. The TV has access to all the streaming services such as Netflix, AppleTV if you have an account. Super-fast broadband is available. There are sliding doors opening on to a small balcony overlooking Harbour Road with views of the sea including the Farne Islands. There is a well equipped kitchen with newly refurbished with modern units. From the lounge you can access the twin bedroom and a small vestibule gives access to the double bedroom and modern bathroom with bath, separate rain shower, sink and toilet.

A great place to stay. A really lovely apartment, very well equipped and more spacious than I thought it would be. It’s a great location with the beach right on your doorstep, walking distance to Seahouses, and Bamburgh if you feel like a longer walk, yet still very peaceful as it’s on the outskirts of Seahouses. Overall I would highly recommend.
Lovely well presented flat overlooking beaches and sea. Loads of room, comfortable, everything we needed. Own safe car park. Great walks for miles along beautiful beaches or costal paths, decent eating out pub/resturants/ cafe all within easy walk of flat and loads more if you wanted to venture further. Plenty of sightseeing in the area to keep us busy. Would happily revisit Thank you David
We had a fabulous week at David’s apartment. It was perfect ..warm, very comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom fittings were amazing with an excellent bath and shower. The welcome book was so helpful and clear and all the manuals included was a brilliant idea. We really loved the wooden wall hangings..so warm and creative! The location was ideal for exploring the area and having the beach and shop across the road was perfect. Also two good pubs within walking distance…we particularly liked the yurts! Thank you for providing a relaxing home from home.
I booked David's apartment for a short break to celebrate my husbands birthday. We wanted to be able to explore Northumberland and be close to the sea. The location was ideal, plenty of options for us to visit nearby towns and villages and perfect for the trip to Holy Island. The apartment is beautifully maintained and it was lovely to have the basics provided - plus a few treats! While the intention was to be out a lot of the time it was lovely to be able to enjoy an evening in and have good facilities for making a meal on the one evening we stayed in. It was very easy to find the apartment and there is ample parking. Overall a great base for a couple or 4 people to use to explore this stunning part of England.

Sea Huts is located on the first floor in a block of four apartments, each with independent access. One of the first things you notice as you enter the living room is the view from the balcony window. Throw open the doors and inhale the invigorating sea air. In front is the remaining fishermen’s hut and beyond them a special little beach, Beadnell Haven, where fishing boats landed for hundreds of years. On the horizon are the Farne Islands and at night you will see the beam from the Longstone Lighthouse. The path in front is part of the Northumberland Coastal Path and you will see some serious walkers pass by enjoying this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You will want to join them and explore Beadnell’s massive beaches and fascinating history or if you want more active fun you can run, hire mountain bikes, play golf, ride horses on the beach or go sailing, sea kayaking, windsurfing, kite-surfing or scuba diving.
Take a boat trip to the Farne Island to meet the seals and puffins or cross the causeway to Holy Island to discover the historic abbey and castle. Just a few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its dramatic castle used as a location for the Harry Potter films, and Alnwick Gardens, a spectacular formal garden, with its Grande Cascade waterfall and restaurant in the largest tree house in Europe. Visit local pubs and restaurants to experience Northumberland’s fantastic seafood and other local produce. The well-stocked village shop is just across the road. Whether you want to be relaxed or invigorated, to stuff yourselves silly or walk yourselves healthy, this is the place to stay.
Beadnell is a very walkable village with the historic core with two pubs, a bistro, a cafe and church just 5 minutes away. The Haven beach and the village shop are just across the road from the flat and Beadnell Bay with its massive beach and picturesque harbour is a 12 minute walk.
Popular villages such as Sea Houses, Bamburgh and Low Newton are a 10 minute drive away. Warkworth, Amble and Alnwick are within 35 minutes drive. The flat has off-street parking.
Local busses stop on the green next to the flat and connect you to Alnwick, Alnmouth, Sea Houses and Bamburgh. Catch the East Coast mainline at Alnmouth for Newcastle, Berwick and Edinburgh.
