Home to a lot of wildlife, inspiring the names of our casitas – Fox, Desert Tortoise and Roadrunner! Serene picturesque area, at the very end of the road overlooking river, creeks, and protected lands. Your casita is one of three purposely built on the north side of our home with individual private entrances and their own private patio area. The space you rent will be your own with no one else having access. This casita is set up as a one bedroom unit with a walk-in closet, and a living room area with a sleeper sofa, large kitchenette, and laundry. There is also an attached large private bathroom with deluxe roll-in shower, bench, and lighted mirror. The casita has a large covered patio with a sliding glass door from the bedroom. There is a dining table that can also be used as a desk. Hulu Live TV with on-line DVR is provided. You can also utilize streaming services with your account. The bed is a new Casper Select mattress that we sleep on ourselves – best mattress we have ever had. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities, including basic spices. It has a two-burner cooktop, microwave, and toaster (no oven). We also provide a Keurig coffee maker with some coffee pods (creamer & sugar provided). There is a full-size refrigerator/freezer with icemaker. We have installed a four-stage whole home filtration system, which includes UV purification. Filtered water is plumbed into the kitchen cold water faucet and the icemaker. The rest of the house is plumbed through a water softener. The casita has a large covered patio with excellent views and a patio set. There is also a double chair with an attached table on the edge of the rock wall, to accentuate the views and perhaps to enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets! Heating and air conditioning is provided for your comfort. You have your own system that you can control through a wireless remote. The living room and bedroom have separate controls and can be tailored for each room separately. Extra blankets and pillows are provided. From your window or under the covered patio, you can see the confluence of La Verkin and Ash Creeks as they merge with the Virgin River. A trail down to the river begins just outside your door for hiking or mountain biking. Once down to the river, you will find, picnic areas, swimming holes, historic sites, and a desert tortoise rehabilitation area! Be on the lookout for endangered species such as the Southwest Willow Flycatcher, Desert Tortoise, and the California Condor. Our home is situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood at the very end of a cul-de-sac. There are no houses to block your view, just protected lands to enjoy beyond. Though only a short walk or drive to the famous River Rock Roasting Company, the views from your rental are much better, with the added tranquility of no road noise or crowds!
