Matheson Bay is a short walk away and offers a safe swimming beach for the family. Daniel's Reef is also a short walk away for the keen surfer needing some more adventurous waves. Nearby you'll have access to Ti Point Wharf for fishing, the Leigh Coastal walk to stretch your legs, and great snorkelling at the Goat Island Marine Reserve. A little further afield, Parkiri Beach or Omaha Beach are approximately 15-minutes away by car. For some tasty treats, the popular Matakana Farmers' Markets is within 15 minutes drive, and if you don't feel like cooking, why not finish the day off with dinner at the famous Leigh Sawmill Cafe, offering the best in local craft beers, food and live music.
