Take some time for yourself in our calm, cosy annex in the heart of the picturesque village of Stanwick. Our space offers a super king bed (or two singles) a beautiful step-free en-suite, cloak room, sitting room, and fully equipped kitchen. The sofas can be easily converted to single beds if required. Private gated parking. Just a few steps from the Duke of Wellington pub, For the Love of Wine bar, and shop. 20 mins walk from Stanwick Lakes, 10 mins drive from Rushden Lakes shopping centre. A self-contained bungalow consisting of entrance hall with coat rack and umbrella stand, generous bedroom with king bed, step-free en-suite, full kitchen with dining table and spacious sitting room. We provide cooking utensils, foil, washing up liquid, salt and pepper, sauce sachets, cooking oil, and milk/bread on request. We also have shower gel, shampoo conditioner and soap. We would like you to leave our annex in the condition you would wish it find it in. Strictly no parties, strictly no smoking. Four adults is the absolute maximum capacity. Unfortunately outdoor space is not included in the listing and guests using the garden are not insured.

We were visiting our family in Raunds nearby including two of our great grand children. When they visited us Kate said that she was more than happy for them to play in the garden in fact Audrey (and Jerry) came out to play with our grand daughter. It was like being in a united family. With regards to the accommodation it was superb and just right for us. Needless to say it was spotless and Kate did ask if we needed anything before we arrived. Needless to say if and when we visit our family again we will be coming here. Thank you Kate, Kris, Audrey and Jerry.
We were a group of four in the area for a wedding and Kate's place was absolutely perfect!
Kate is a lovely, friendly host who made us feel welcome before we arrived. Kate responded promptly to any queries as well as keeping us informed of necessary local information relevant to our stay. The accommodation smelt lovely and was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and quiet - just what we were looking for. Everything we needed was provided, including the all-important tea/coffee and also toiletries which was a pleasant surprise (so don't worry if you forget the toothpaste!). There was a hairdryer, but there wasn't an iron, although I feel if we'd asked one would have been provided. It was clear consideration had been given to making sure all the basics were provided to make our stay nicer, including providing bread and milk on arrival, and we found it nice and helpful to have all the cupboards labelled. Jerry the cat was a welcome addition to our stay, making us feel right at home. We would certainly recommend this accommodation and would love to stay again in the future.
Our stay at Kates place was very comfortable. We felt right at home, with our own private gated entrance, and place to park the car. The space was very clean and spacious with everything we needed to cook, etc. The location is wonderful in beautiful English countryside with many interesting places to visit near by. We plane to stay here again the next time we are visiting our parents. We would highly recommend this Air BnB if you are looking to explore this area of the countryside!

The village of Stanwick is a quiet and friendly place, close to picturesque countryside walks. It offers a post office and village shop, pet spa, butchers, pub and wine bar. We are 20 mins (1 mile) walk from Stanwick Lakes.
We have lovely neighbours. Please respect them by keeping noise to a minimum.
We are in the heart of the village, which is easily walkable. The towns of Raunds, Rushden, Wellingborough and Thrapston are easily accessed by car. Rushden Lakes shopping centre is less than a 10 min drive.

We are a family of three who enjoys travel, days out in the countryside and exploring the local area. We have recently moved to Northamptonshire and love our new home. We have a friendly cat called Jerry who is also enjoying his new garden.
