Loads of trails right off our road. * note* another rental cabin on the property (The Robins Nest) located almost 500ft away so lots of privacy but if more space is needed can be rented together! Lovingly redone while maintaining many of the homes original unique features. The chalet’s countless windows and vaulted ceilings make it a very bright space. Large open concept eat in kitchen and living area a dream for entertaining. Ski, hike, bike and snowmobile and come home to a game of pool in the adult fun basement and take a dip in you Private hot tub! Natural gas fireplace in living room with smart thermostat and mini split heat/ ac pumps throughout the house keep you toasty in the winters and cool in the summers! Chefs kitchen has everything needed for creating gourmet dinners and weekend brunches! Vitamix, Haden toaster, kettle, microwave and coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, kitchen aid mixer, pasta maker and accessories for baking just to name a few. Luxury master suite with spa bathroom including: King sized bed with mountain views right from your bed! smart plugs and wifi activated lighting 48 inch smart tv Heated floors, towel rack and mirrors. A very 5-star review. Jeff's place is very comfortable, well-appointed and decorated with taste. Everything worked well, and we had everything we needed for our 5-day trip to Nelson. Jeff was extremely responsive on the Air BnB chat, provides plenty of local recommendations and an extensive welcome guide. Overall, a great place to stay near Nelson.
My family stayed at Jeff’s place for 2 nights. We went to Ainsworth hot springs and this was the perfect stay for our weekend get away! We hope to stay here again.

We are located on a picturesque 20 acres property perched on the side of the mountain overlooking Kootenay lake, Harrop / Proctor and offering spectacular views of the Selkirk mountains. Hiking, mountain biking and various other outdoor activities are just at your door step.
Enjoy great snowmobiling in the winter and ziplining in the summer. We are within 10 mins of beautiful beaches for relaxing and swimming. Rent a paddle board or kayak and explore the waters of our beautiful area.

BALFOUR & KOOTENAY FERRY -5 MINS - Enjoy the spectacular journey across our beautiful lake to Crawford bay. It is the longest free ferry in the world and is definitely worth the trip.
AINSWORTH HOT SPRINGS - 15-20 MINS - Head to the hot springs for a little relaxation in their natural mountain water fed cave. Relax and let the hot mineral water melt away your pain after a long day of activities. Don't forgot to enjoy dinner at their restaurant the Ktunaxa grill. The mussels are out of this world served on a sizzling platter with fresh bannock!
WHITEWATER SKI RESORT - 45 MINS - World class skiing is not far away. Considered a backcountry ski / snowboarders dream, the powder at White water is epic. Part of the famous powder highway, a trip to Whitewater should not be missed. Boasting over 1200cm (40 ft) of snow a year and a vertical of over 2000ft a full season could be spent there carving up the terrain.
KASLO - 30 MINS - Known as little Switzerland, this quaint town hosts one amazing Jazz festival.
Check out the paddle wheeler museum, one of the original ferries on Kootenay lake or head to the back country for some untouched epic terrain.
