I enjoyed my stay at Pam and Al’s place…the property was comfortable and clean with an excellent shower. A regular bus service into the city is at the end of the road. Highlights of Nelson: extensive cycle network, jazz in the garden at Founders Park, art galleries, Boat Shed Cafe.
this place is a gem. supper friendly hosts. The house is located down a lane so away from traffic, we would highly recommend this place to anyone.
my wife and I stayed for 2 nights at Pam and Al's place. it was really nice and felt like home. the location was close to Nelson town, and there were supermarkets and good restaurants within walking distance. the hosts had included a small but nice breakfast. The only thing that we felt could have been better was having a bit more silverware, but for us, it was not an issue at all. we had a wonderful comfortable stay in Nelson and highly recommend this place for anybody visiting Nelson for a few days.
We just loved Pam and Al’s suite. It is very roomy and had absolutely everything we needed. The setting is private and quiet with a lovely patio and garden area. The hosts were very responsive and left us extra treats along with breakfast foods. We were so happy there. We also got great travel tips from the hosts. We highly recommend this suite!

We enjoy travel, different cultures and meeting people. We like new experiences and trying new food! I am a nurse and Al is a chemist. We have 2 adult daughters and a very small, friendly dog. As a family we have travelled to the UK, Europe, USA and Australia. Most recently been in Canada. Al's travelled in South America and speaks some Spanish. We enjoy music, live shows, movies, reading, exploring, cycling, gardening and being outdoors.
