Relaxatation & privacy are key at our Walker Park Getaway. Our peaceful home has scenic views and water access just down the street. Walker Park is 0.3 miles away, with direct water access to Hammersly Inlet. Load your boat/kayak/paddleboard from the park shore. Go beachcombing or fishing. See the sea birds, seals, otters, fish jumping, or even the occasional orca whales hunting or jumping. Shelton is a laid-back historic logging town along the gateway to the Olympics. RV parking is available. Relax and hang out on the covered porch and view the nature and beauty of our area. In the living room, there is a new 4K 50" TV with the Roku platform where you can sign into your Netflix, Hulu, or free streaming services. There is also a Blu-ray player with an assortment of movies provided. This room has an electric adjustable recliner, a very comfy (3 person) sofa with 2 recliners, a convertible single sleeper sofa, and 2 arm chairs. There is a small desk/chair serving as a dedicated work space. There are two bedrooms. The larger bedroom has a queen bed with a memory foam mattress and a smart TV. The smaller room has a double bed with a firmer memory foam mattress. This room connects to the laundry room. The kitchen is fully equipped, with amenities clearly labeled. We provide coffee pods and a keurig coffee maker. There are 4 stools at the counter for eating and such. We do not have a garbage disposal because we are on a septic system. ** Please DO NOT put food waste down the sink drains ** On the 2nd floor, there is an extra kids game room with Blu-Ray, Classic Atari with TV and a little table for kids' activities. Our home has rooted history from early Shelton development. It used to be the office/cookhouse for the mill down the road (closed decades ago). Our home has been remodeled several times since then. You may occasionally hear the trains running nearby.
