Carrbridge is a lovely village 10 minutes north of Aviemore and a half hour from Inverness. The lodges are located up a private drive 100m from the main street in the village. Our neighbour is the Landmark Forrest Adventure Park which is a 5 minute walk away and a must for any families staying with us. The village has a couple of pubs, a local shop, a cafe and a bakery as well as a small art gallery and fuel station. Multiple supermarkets plus a wealth of shopping and bars/restaurants can be found in Aviemore plus the villages of Nethybridge, Boat of Garten and Grantown on Spey are between 10 and 20 minutes away if you prefer local independent suppliers.
There are multiple walks on our doorstep and if you time it right you might even see the lone piper atop the Old Packhorse Bridge on the nearby River Dulnain at the end of the village!!

There is free parking on-site at the lodge but the village is well served by bus to all the towns and villages in the area from the stop at the bottom of our driveway. You can get the bus into Inverness from the same location or the jump on the train at the station which links Inverness to London via the Highland Mainline. If you are travelling to us by public transport let us know in advance and we will collect you from off the bus or train!
