I’m an elderly lady and stayed 2 weeks in Joris’ basement apt. Unit was spotless and fairly new. LR is dark, BR is big and bright w a large closet w many hangers but NO DOOR. The bathroom is large and has a standing shower. Joris provided many towels, shower gel and the hot water was plentiful. I had a few issues re safety/privacy. There’s a common staircase between the owners unit upstairs and the rental, separated by a glass door that locks only on the owners side. The laundry area is in the rental, and the owners came down freely without advance notice to do their laundry. ”locked door” in the airbnb description is the door leading from the garage and into the unit. I also had an ongoing problem with the heating. The unit was very cold. The heating control is in the owners’ unit and was not turned on. i had to ask Joris daily to turn it on, or increase it. Owners were absent when i arrived and i stayed in the BR whenever they did their laundry i had no interaction w them.

The place was wonderful just like the description. I highly recommend Joris place. Very clean, she was responding my message right away. Easy to enter her home. Gave us some great locations to eat. Can’t complain. Will definitely book her place again when i go to Boston again. Her son was very nice gave us a tour of the place. So sweet.

Very comfortable bed! We loved walking in the neighborhood. Joris is an excellent communicator, and her suggestions for getting around were very helpful. Recommended!

Everything was as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Joris and Ali, the hosts, are very friendly and easily accessible if you have any questions. When you finish your sightseeing in Boston you come back and stay in a pretty, quiet neighborhood with easy access to Boston and its many attractions.
