We loved our stay at Rui’s place overlooking the beach. It was peaceful and well appointed and we really enjoyed the deck and being able to swim daily. Rui was friendly and helpful with great recommendations. The location was excellent. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Owner Rui has an apartment in a spectacular location which is perfect for total relaxation. He communicates really responsively and is very helpful. The view is stunning and located on the beach allowing you to sleep with the wave sounds. However, for over €225 a night, there are some big letdown points : 1) The fridge in the kitchen smelt very unpleasant; the waste bin was battered and filthy; hardly any basics were provided such as kitchen paper, only an imperceptible drizzle of oil to use…🙁. For the amount of money we paid, we would expect at least the above to the addressed + fresh milk in the fridge on arrival + a complementary basket of local goodies. 2) The main bathroom stunk of sewage; the toilet paper was extremely poor quality, NO shower gel/shampoo was provided and the shower cubicle had black mould all over the mosaic tiles. 3) The balcony needs complete redecoration to repair the cracks & damaged plaster. 4) The beach mats are falling apart & the sun umbrellas ripped.

A really enjoyable stay, would happily return. Very nice, comfortable apartment with, as others have said, great spacious balcony with lovely sweeping views over the beach, right opposite. Sound of the sea 24/7. Parking below a real plus. A local indoor market in the old town with fresh fruit, veg, fish etc but lots of restaurants to choose from too. Suited us perfectly for a relaxing holiday.
