It will be a pleasure to help you with everything you need from surf class, yoga, transfer to the airport and all kinds of tours. Pura Vida Under the shade of our beautiful noni trees and the immense guanacaste you can relax and enjoy nature. The loft rooms are located on the second floor and have a view of the garden. We also offer an equipped kitchen to make your own breakfasts or any type of meal. Carla is our ISA & ADAPTIVE certified surf instructor with more than 20 years of experience in the waves. If you want to improve your style or learn while having fun, she is available for individual and group classes. Gabriele is our martial arts coach with more than 24 years of KICK BOXING experience, 35 competitive matches, 4x Italian SP champion, BRAZILIAN JUJITSU & GRAPLING purple belt and is available for basic and personalized training.

This was my first time traveling and staying at a Hostel, and I think It was a great experience, I'm glad that there was a bathroom inside the house and I didn't have to go outside to shower. I was a bit bummed that there was no air and I only had a tiny fan but I was out most of the day. The host are kind and you have plenty of space in the kitchen and fridge. Very clean, and helpful with information.
Amazing place to stay if you visit tamarindo. It has everything you need for a great price. Strongly recommended! Thanks guys✌️

Paolo has one of the most cozy home aways from home I've ever been to. I felt like a visiting family member. He brings travel to its core: community, a great kitchen, a cozy common area complete with books and surfboards and outdoor shower, exceptional hospitality, and minimal but very functional rooms with storage, great breeze, and cute curtains. Boxing classes in the morning taught by Paolo's co-host further add to the communal feeling. There is no AC, or hot water (just warm) as of February, (Paolo says will be installed by April), but honestly no need: Costa Rica is hot at day, cool at night, and the warm water is just fine. Given the price, this is a complete steal for the backpacker to the couple and surf tourist alike. 10/10, can't further recommend!

We are located just 600 meters from the beach and a few steps from supermarkets, laundry and gym.
On Thursday afternoons you can enjoy the night market with music and food just across the street.
The town is very small and to move more easily we offer daily and weekly scooter rental.

I'm originally from Sardinia, a beautiful italian island, and got here in Costa Rica on 1997 thanks to my passion for surfing and for the nature. After having build, owned and run Domus Kahuna Hotel for 16 years, I`m now renting private houses and rooms, enjoying the waves any time I can and sailing with my brother with the fantastic Sailover crew....
