Uncle is warm and helpful. The kitchen and washing facilities were good. The flat was spacious. It is next to Alagappa University and within a km of the city center. It has many local eateries in the vicinity and auto are accessible round the clock.

I struggled to locate the place as I'm directionally challenged! Mr. Gunashekaran who owns the place patiently guided me till I reached it. He also helped me get an auto to move around! Helpful is an understatement! The accommodation (ground floor) was spanky clean and comfortable! I had the entire place to myself - a foyer, a drawing cum dining hall, a bedroom, and a kitchen (in case you need to make tea or heat up some food). There's space at the back to dry out clothes. Amazing filter coffee in the morning by the hosts. They insisted on giving me dinner rather than the leftover curd rice I was planning to have! Dinner was a yummalicious vegetable upma with a tangy Chettinadu kozhambu (curry) to accompany it! Super hospitality! Highly recommend this well-maintained place for the amazing hospitality if you're Karaikudi bound!

We had a lovely stay at Yogalakshmi's house- the house was easy to get to and it was very clean and comfortable. Her parents who stayed on the top floor were very warm and welcoming and we really enjoyed the breakfast provided! Yogalakshmi also provided us with great recommendations for things to see and do the around Karaikudi area. Thank you again for the wonderful stay!
