I stayed at Villa Monyet for one week and it was exactly the kind of chill, remote island vibe I expected - if not better than that! After 2 weeks in Bali, Batukaras was the perfect chill-out place. Getting up at 5am to go surfing, chilling in the hammock, more surfing in the afternoon, riding the scooter thru the amazing scenery and over the Bamboo bridge (I made it!!), having some Bintangs in the evening listening to the boys making music - pure bliss! Obay and the entire team made me feel at home the very minute I arrived. I loved everything about my stay - most of all the Banana muffins for breakfast ;)) Also the fish BBQ was a great experience - you shouldn't miss out on that one! The In/Out restaurant is also a great place to have dinner in case you feel like leaving the Villa for one night.. I barely did, that's how much I loved it :) I wish I could have stayed longer - most definitely I will be back, def for more than just one week. Hatur nuhun, Villa Monyet! Sampai jumpa lagi - bis später <3
