Welcome to the Royal Lodge. Our Blue Room offers a king-sized bed with a brand new mattress and great quality bedding. This room is oozing with romance, and would be ideal for a couple. It would also be suitable for a single person who wants a more spacious room in a very central location in Dublin City. This peaceful room is hidden away at the rear of the house, away from the Main Street. There is a large wooden desk and chair, which is perfect for working remotely if you need it as well. We’ve spent one year fully renovating our stylish and unique Edwardian townhouse, and we’re delighted to share our home with you. Our house is full of character, with original coving, cornices, a hallway arch and fireplaces in the sitting room and bedrooms. We created the wall of mirrors to show our appreciation for antiques, with each one being collected and hand-picked.

We loved the Blue Room! Everything was spot on and Michael & Eoin are great hosts. They even left us a treat after a difficult travel experience. It was a welcome and lovely surprise. Other guests were also quiet and respectful and we never had any waits for the washroom. Thank you both for a wonderful experience❣️
Beautiful kept space, I was able to check in at an earlier time and the house was very quiet!
We had a lovely stay at the Royal Lodge, it is immaculately decorated, very clean, excellent amenities and the hosts left a lovely welcome note with a bottle of wine, which was a great touch! We would note for those that don’t enjoy a hard mattress, this one is particularly solid - but everything else was great!
The place and fellows who run it are real gems. The space itself is as gorgeous and funky as the pictures suggest, and it is all kept very clean. I spent more time there than I thought I might (waiting for lost luggage to arrive) and enjoyed checking out all the little curios they’ve curated around the rooms. The location is so easy to get to and from the downtown spots by bus. We used Leap cards, and were able to get anywhere we needed to within about 20 mins. Though Phibsborough itself is a funky little neighborhood to wander round too! Michael and Eoin themselves are lovely. I had some snags around my luggage (arranging to drop off bags and the airline losing them), and these guys were absolutely top shelf helpful. Kind, courteous, hospitable, and available when a panicked tourist needed help. 10 stars for this place!! 🥰
Perfect stay with Michael & Eoin! 🥰 The most welcoming pair, very accommodating with helping us store luggage and very friendly throughout. Amazing location for Croke Park, only 10 min walk home after concert which was great for our feet after dancing all night! 😂 Would highly recommend! Thank you both x

Our house is located on the infamous North Circular Road, close to the old school charm and contemporary buzz of Phibsborough. There are many coffee shops and restaurants to choose from, like 3fe and Two Boys Brew, to name but a few.
We are also a ten minute walk from the top of O’Connell street, which is arguably the biggest tourist attraction in Dublin. Here you will find the Spire, Henry street shopping district and a myriad of buses to take you on all of the tours you desire.
The house is very well-connected with public transport, be it buses, the Luas or even the nearby Dart station.
Croke Park is a matter of minutes away, whether you’re going to a match or even a concert.
Our house is well very well-connected with public transport. It’s just over a 10 minute walk to the top of O’Connell Street, where you will find:
- Dublin Buses: virtually all of the bus routes go through O’Connell Street
- Coaches: that can take you to places outside of Dublin, if you wish
- Luas: the closest red line Luas stop is Abbey Street, and the closest green line Luas stop is Marlborough
- You will also find Taxi ranks on O’Connell street
We are just over 30 minutes from the airport by coach. There are a number of coaches that can get you there: 41, 16 and 700 (a.k.a. AirCoach). We are also only a 15 minute drive if you are renting a car or taking a taxi.
