Check-in was straightforward. The apartment was walkable to downtown and the old town. There are only a few restaurants/ cafes in immediate proximity but there are plenty within a 10-minute walk. The apartment is close to bus stops. It is comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is quite well equipped with cooking pans and utensils, cutlery and crockery. We had a problem with the bathtub (which is under the shower) not draining but Daniel responded the day after we reported it. Hopefully Drano is the answer! All round Daniel was a helpful host and the apartment a good place to stay.

We had a great stay at Daniel’s place. From communication before booking to instructions for leaving, our experience was positive. We stayed a week and slept very comfortably on the bed. We didn’t cook much, but when we did, we found most everything we needed. Nice touch to have olive oil and balsamic vinegar in addition to salt and pepper. We used the laundry facilities and found them easy to use. The location was great - we walked and used buses to get everywhere. Great that the place is on MetroBus routes 800 and 801 - buses going by every 2-3 minutes that will connect you anywhere. We took the bus to Montmorency Falls as well - great deal. We ate at several restaurants in the area around the apartment - all were great. Quebec City is an amazing city, and Daniel’s place makes exploring it simple and pleasurable.
