Being nature lovers, the outside was more important to us than the inside. It was a quiet, peaceful location with the beautiful river in the back yard and lots of birds! And although the yard was not fenced, we were able to have our dog off leash wirh plenty of room to run around and explore and no worries. Having a hot tub was great and the fire pit was also a plus. The inside was clean and the kitchen was well equipped, which is important since we cook our own meals. The master bedroom and bath were beautiful; however, the other 2 bedrooms were sparse and could use some tables. All in all, we would definitely recommend Jenny's place on the river.

Wonderful host that was more than hospitable and accommodating and responsive. We stayed due to being displaced due to a house fire and from first communication to check in everything was clear, clean, and Jenny made the experience a huge lift of some of the weight on our shoulders. The location is quiet, peaceful, and gives a wonderful view of the river that is so often overlooked. I totally recommend for short, private getaways, family gatherings and holidays, and anything in between.

Our stay in Terre Haute was nothing short of fantastic. Situated in a serene location with a breathtaking view of the lake, this property provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The cleanliness of the accommodation was impeccable. Jenny takes great care in maintaining a pristine environment for guests. The abundance of utensils in the kitchen made cooking a breeze, and the spacious layout allowed for easy entertaining of large gatherings. The hot tub was a plus, to unwind and relax in the evening. The beauty of the lake view cannot be overstated. Waking up to the sight of the sun shimmering on the water was amazing.
