House was large with lots of space and plenty of beds. Was easy heat on the cooler nights.

Let me start off by saying the house was lovely! Beautiful seating area outside. I love the floor length windows. Kitchen and bathrooms were awesome. The main thing that fell flat was the bed in the master bedroom. We couldn’t get any sleep because it was extremely uncomfortable. The sheets were very rough and noisy and there was some plug (not sure what its purpose was) underneath the sheet that made it even more uncomfortable. We picked this location to make day trips to Mount Cook (must do) and Lake Tekapo (only need a few hours unless you book water activities). The town of Twizel itself has very little to do and the kitchens close around 8pm at all restaurants. We couldn’t find food, so make sure you grocery shop if you’re going to be out most of the day (that closes very early as well).

Such a tranquil spot! You won’t be disappointed by the peace and quiet, and the night sky is as advertised! Easy access to town and an easy day trip up to Aoraki National Park!

This is a good house, especially with a large and long sofa outdoor for seeing the star, very good and intimate for visitors. All the kitchen and equipment are ver good. Recommend to book the house
