Apartment is in great location.. easy to walk everywhere. It was clean and adequate for our stay. We used the Airbnb app instructions to locate the key safe but on opening the keysafe there was no key inside. Tried ringing the help contact number listed on the app numerous times ... just left on hold. Eventually after 2 hours we managed to get through and someone came out to help. The app instructions were wrong.. they were for a different flat. Once we had the correct key safe we were able to access the flat. After contacting the host they advised the email sent before departure had the correct access details. I guess I should have checked but would assume the Airbnb instructions should be correct. Unfortunately meant a cold long wait outside for us after a long travel time to get to Copenhagen. The host gave a very small amount of compensation for the mix up.. . barely enough to cover the drinks we purchased whilst waiting and cost of numerous phone calls to try and get help.

Das Einchecken war etwas umständlich, und die Lage in einem etwas heruntergekommenen Hinterhaus war sehr versteckt. Dafür liegt es superzentral, viele Bars / Restaurants in der Nähe, perfekt für einen Städtetrip. Grundsätzlich hat das Apartment auch der Beschreibung / Fotos entsprochen, schön dekoriert, hell, grosszügig, stilvoll nordisch eingerichtet und sauber. Ein technisches Problem wurde schnell und unkompliziert durch einen Techniker gelöst. Allerdings ist nur die Oberfläche toll, die Substanz des Gebäudes ist sehr alt: Die Wohnung liegt unter dem (vermutlich nicht isolierten) Dach und heizt sich sehr auf. Die Fenster sind alte Kippfenster, die sich nur wenig öffnen lassen, so dass richtiges Lüften schwierig ist. In der Küche gibt es einen großen Schimmelfleck / Wasserschaden an der Decke. Hier wurde zwar drüber gestrichen, aber man kann nicht lüften und es riecht modrig und unangenehm. Aus unserer Sicht ist der Preis nicht gerechtfertigt und es müsste grundlegend saniert werden

This place has one real good thing about it… and that’s the location. It is a minute away from where all the shopping, dining and entertainment district is. Metro is close by and so is a lot of other things. We did not use any taxi service while we stayed there. The apartment is nice and spacious. The not so good is it’s on the 4th floor with no elevator and lugging suitcases up and down was a chore. We dreaded the climb up everytime we came back or got grocery. Also, there is no air conditioning, so in the summer and with the apartment being on the 4th floor it stayed hot all day. Wish they as a minimum had ceiling or portable fans to move some air. The entry door to the building was never locked, the keys to apartment was located in lockbox at a different building than what’s shown in photos along with inaccurate checkin info. Signs of water leak on ceiling and plaster cracks begs for some upgrade to this unit. Certainly a nice location but it does lack some customer comfort items.
