Large traditional self contained 2 bedroomed apartment on the Common with your own terrace. Please note the listing price is for one double bedroom, there is another small single bedroom for which there is a charge of £20 per night, to book the two bedrooms please enter 3 guests in your reservation. This is a large self contained ground floor apartment in a traditional 1920’s semi detached house with French doors leading to your own terrace within a mature garden. There is a dove cote and the doves do fly freely so you will see them around the garden but they aren’t likely to come close to you. There is also a fish pond which is approximately 2ft high so please take care with little people. We do ask that you don’t feed the doves or the fish, they have their own food and feeding times, if Luigi is around he’d be happy to give you some food to feed them with. There is one large double bedroom and one small single, there is an additional charge of £20 for the single bedroom so if required please enter 3 guests when booking. There is off road parking for one car on the front driveway and there is plenty of free street parking available with no restrictions. There is a large lounge/diner/ kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer which overlooks the rear garden and a wet room with shower.

Wonderful stay at Alison’s flat. Beautiful property, clean, fully equipped with everything you’d require. Amazing location. Very friendly, helpful hosts. Would highly recommend!
Everything about our stay was wonderful. Excellent communication throughout and easy to check in. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Comfy beds, great towels, lovely shower, well stocked kitchen etc. The welcome pack and a few essentials in the fridge was a lovely touch. We were here for the Springsteen concert but would use this place again if we came back. Thank you!
Our short stay (one night) with Alison was just right with number 8 being a very comfortable and spacious apartment. Despite being absent (through jury service), Alison kept in contact to ensure we had everything we needed, and her care, concern and flexibility made all the difference to us, so thank you again Alison.
Only stayed for one night and now wish it was more. Amazing apartment with equally amazing hosts. Alison was extremely proactive in giving really good suggestions and also got to hv a lovely chat with Luigi 😄 They went the extra mile to make us feel right at home and I wish them the best with their new air bnb and hope to visit again sometime in the future. Recommend 5/5 Stars 🌟

Whitchurch Village is a busy suburb in North Cardiff with plenty of shops (Co-Op, Iceland, Peacocks and Boots) bakers, butchers, coffee shops, restaurants and bars and are about 3-5 minute walk from the apartment, the Three Elms is across the road as are the bus stops.
Buses run regularly to and from Cardiff City centre, the bus stops are across the road from the apartment, it takes about 20 minutes and the fare is about £2 each way or you can get a taxi for approximately £12. Cardiff City Centre has many attractions - the Castle, excellent shopping centre, Principality Stadium aka the Millennium Stadium - but may have changed its name again by now, which hosts the large rugby games and concerts. If you continue down to Cardiff Bay you can see the Millennium Centre and Barrage or just stroll along the front and wine and dine in one of the many bars and restaurants overlooking the Bay. Within about a 5 minute drive you can reach Castell Coch or 20 minutes the other way St Fagans. The University Hospital of Wales and Velindre are both a 20 minute walk away. Cardiff is an ideal base for touring South Wales, the Gower is only 1-2 hour drive as are the Brecon Beacons.

It’s Luigi’s home, I just do the work. You are likely to see him pottering around the garden or in his man cave at the bottom of the garden. He does like to chat !! I don’t like to interfere with our guests but more than happy to pop over to say hello if it suits you.
