This was seriously the most incredible trip we have ever taken. if you are a sucker for the great outdoors and want to experience the true beauty of hawaii I recommend you to experience it this way! Nick was such a great host and super flexible. He went out of his way to make sure we had all the amenities we needed to truly enjoy our experience! We will definitely be doing this again!

Nick was very responsive and accommodating. There were some small issues with the vehicle during our trip and he was very quick to fix them. The setup is comprehensive, providing everything you might need. Many of the spots recommended in the guidebook were great. If you have the right expectations and are prepared (make sure to book campgrounds way in advance), it would be a unique unforgettable experience. For us however, the first night we camped at a spot in the recommended list, the police asked us to leave and informed us of Kauai Traffic Code Sec. 16-12.3. Some other spots recommended were taken over by homeless camps. Thus everyday we had to spend quite some time looking for a place for the night. Wish we had been prepared with more realistic expectations beforehand, and booked campgrounds where rooftop tent is allowed in advance.

I don’t think I would’ve have seen a side of Kaua’i if it weren’t for Nick’s SUV rental option. What a great way to explore the island and not be tied down to a hotel. Nick provided an extensive list of locations that were wonderful and memorable. It comes well stocked with everything you could need to camp and cook. Five stars all the way!

Both Demi and Nick were super helpful and responsive. The check in was easy and thanks to the videos Nick provided, everything (eg driving, setting up the tent) was very straightforward

What a dream trip! I can’t imagine a more beautiful, transformative way to see Kaua’i - we woke up to sunrises in the most picturesque places and had a local perspective for some incredibly special spots. The roof-top tent makes for a comfortable sleep and the car was fully stocked with all the necessities. Nick was extremely communicative and helpful both leading up to our stay and while we were there, with detailed instructions and recommendations. We were very lucky to have come across this overlander experience!
