Words and pictures can only begin to describe Villa Mumu. The experience of walking across the bridge to this private home on a rock point above the ocean with expansive views to the north, east and south, will take your breath away! The great room and kitchen was perfect for the four of us, the 2 king bedrooms comfortable and the decks on 3 sides allowed the winds to flow through the house. We enjoyed watching the surf and tide changes. The house is on a former resort that was lost to a storm many years ago but the multiple paths on the 7 or so acres offered are intact and it was fun to explore the property. The Rock Pool is a special treat! With steps leading into it, it’s easy to access. While only between 5 to 8 feet deep, with a mask and snorkel, we could see hundreds of small fish and a few sea stars. At high tide one can start in the pool and snorkel out to the larger reef, where even more fish and many types of coral can be seen. The caretakers are wonderful!

We truly loved Villa Mumu! The setting is incredible with your own beach and rock pool. On site caretaker Seni and her family were lovely and gracious. Seni cooked us some meals which were delicious. Junior was always on call for cab rides and Papa kept us stocked with fresh fruit every day. If you want a private setting and a beautiful house this is the place!

The photos truly don’t do Villa Mumu justice. We had the most beautiful and peaceful stay. The caretakers and family are amazing, the property and house are beautiful and I would highly recommend staying here!

From Host to the mgmt team and caretakers, all were super attentive and accommodating. The landscape of Villa Mumu was exceptional and always breathtakingly serene regardless if it was sunny, rainy, or windy! The whole Villa itself is an excursion. Please do make sure to take it upon yourself to explore all that Villa Mumu offers! The caretakers were super friendly and treated us like family. Seni’s homemade Fijian cuisine was icing on the cake! Unfortunately, we ran into a minor accident in which, Ravi went above and beyond and drove us to the local hospital (health care is free in Fiji). Depending on the weather, you may not get Wi-Fi or data signal, (best place for data was in the laundry room, in which I camped in there for a couple of nights working on some projects 🤣) I found out on my last day that there is strong Wi-Fi connection a couple meters down to the next Villa - thanks to the house manager Seth who came to the Wi-Fi rescue in the middle of the night! 10/10.
