A clean and central place to stay if you are staying in the city

Worked well for us and we were able to walk anywhere we wanted. It's by a busy road and there are steps up to the entrance but that wasn't a problem for us. We were able to cook and do washing and had a good stay.

Amy was very responsive and helpful to deal with. Was a last minute decision to head to the city for the night so she was great. However as for the room, it’s ALOT smaller than what the photos intended. Not to mention it’s an absolute HOTBOX no aircon only a small fan that didn’t to much at all if I’m honest. The bed is rather small but was ok for myself and partner. The bathroom had a toothbrush and toothpaste left over in the shower which I’m assuming was the previous persons. If I’m being honest it looked like someone had left the minute before we go there. The cleaning was minimal very dusty and hair everywhere. (I lost my wallet so I was underneath the bed and couch looking is how I found this out). Very minimal nothing great in the room to be honest. Not suitable for summer with how hot it was in the room!

Should change listing to Sauna room as it has no cold air ventilation. highly do not recommend, wont be back

Amy and co. were responsive hosts whenever I had enquiries about the apartment - We very much appreciated that and the flexible check-in. The location is at perfect walking distance for anything in the Auckland CBD. It’s a small apartment but has everything you need that you would have in your own home, we found this extremely convenient despite being mostly out of the apartment. Because our stay was in the summer, the room does get very stuffy even with the portable cooler, it also takes a minute to figure out how it works properly. If this place had a full functioning air conditioning unit, it would be way more effective in handling the hotter months and would drastically change the experience in overall comfort. For bigger guests, just be conscientious that the bed is more on the smaller end. It’s more like a double bed than a queen. Overall, this place was great value for all the available amenities and facilities. Would be happy to have Amy and co. as my hosts again :)
