Staying at Lafayette’s homes in Lagos was an unforgettable experience that truly made me and my family’s trip to Nigeria special. The host Ishmail was incredibly responsive and went out of his way to ensure we had all the information needed for a smooth arrival and stay. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and attention to detail in the accommodation. From the linens to the kitchenware was pristine, making it a comfortable and inviting space to relax after exploring the bustling city of Lagos. The listing described the place accurately, but experiencing its charm in person exceeded my expectations. The location was ideal - it offered easy access to local dining, and shopping, presenting an authentic slice of Lagos life. Communication with host was seamless throughout. They were always available to answer any question. In summary, if you're looking for a place to stay in Lagos that combines comfort, convenience, and the warmth of Nigeria-Lafayete is ideal.

The place is beautiful. But had a lot of problems with the TV and Wifi and the water wasn't running in the kitchen for one day.

I was super hesitant on this place as we were hosting friends from abroad for wedding in the area so ikoyi/VI was not an option but we really wanted them to have a great impression of Nigeria. We booked a lot of places for various guests but Lafete stood out in cleanliness, looking exactly like photos, incredible staff who went above and beyond (eg a guests had a wardrobe malfunction, they found a tailor...someone needed a hair fix, they sorted it...last day our car had an issue, they got a mechanic in 10mins). They were always a phone call away, never complained, never overbearing or in our faces either. Every one from gate staff to cleaning staff to management were friendly and professional. Whenever things went wrong as is inevitable in Lagos (eg brief lightout, internet issue, they were quick to respond and resolved quickly). Could not recommend this place highly enough and I am extremely fussy. Host was incredibly helpful with my questions before booking too. Keep it up team!

Absolutely fantastic stay! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning Airbnb and it exceeded all of my expectations. The place is simply beautiful, with stylish and comfortable furnishings that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The location was perfect, offering breathtaking views and easy access to local attractions. What truly made my stay exceptional was the incredible support provided by the Airbnb manager. They were super helpful, going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests truly set this Airbnb apart. I cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a convenient home base for exploring the area, this place has it all. Thank you to the manager for their outstanding hospitality and to the host for sharing this gem of a property with travelers like myself. I will definitely be returning in the future!
