Because of the Covid Virus we are asking that 2Vaccinations have been taken prior to your visit? During your stay with us we ask you to take a lateral flow test for Covid. This keeps us all safe... A Comfortable twin bedded room with Bathroom ensuite, shower cubicle . Within distance of the town centre and handy for Buses. Tea and coffee making in the room. heated in Winter makes it a warm room. We have Duvets on the Sprung Mattress Beds We are a ground floor flat in a beautiful Victorian Villa built 1850. Original ceiling cornices in all the rooms gives the Apartment lots of character and it is furnished in style and comfort with Antiques and paintings. Breakfast is eaten in the Conservatory , sometimes in the Dining Room depending on the weather. Because of the Corona Virus no private rooms are available to share at the moment because of our safety! But the Conservatory can be used as a reading room, nice and light with lots of plants...

Comfortable, quiet and clean accommodation. Short walk to bus station and 22/122/GOLD stop outside. Excellent breakfasts with choice of cereals, fruit, yogurt etc. Joan was always available and very helpful. Parking was ok for my Skoda estate. Cat was entertaining, but don't let her out!
Joan was an amazing host, going above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Continental breakfast very good, home made marmalade included. Always on hand to advise of interesting places to visit. Highly recommended.
Das gesamte Haus im viktorianischen Stil ist wunderschön. Unser Zimmer mit Badezimmer ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Joan und Michael sind äusserst liebenswürdig und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden sogar von Michael das kurze Stück zu Fuß von der Bushaltestelle abgeholt, um das Haus zu finden. Sie sind sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns wertvolle Tipps z. B. für Ausflugsziele, die es hier zur Genüge gibt, Wegbeschreibungen gegeben. Wir haben uns öfters sehr nett unterhalten. Auch ihre Katze mögen wir sehr. Wir haben uns äusserst wohl gefühlt. Ganz lieben Dank, Joan und Michael! Wir empfehlen dieses Air BnB unbedingt weiter!
Meine Freundin und ich haben den Aufenthalt bei Joan und ihrem Mann Michael sehr genossen. Das Zimmer war perfekt für 2 Personen und das Badezimmer, welches direkt an das Zimmer angrenzt, war gut ausgestattet. Obwohl man sich das Haus geteilt hat, hatte man genug Privatsphäre und „Raum für sich allein“. Das Frühstück, welches man im Wintergarten essen konnte, war sehr lecker und vielfältig. Wir wurden jeden Morgen gefragt, ob wir Kaffee oder Tee trinken wollen und dieser wurde uns dann frisch serviert. Die Gastfreundschaft dieses Ehepaares muss man unbedingt erwähnen. Schon im Voraus hatte Joan durch ihre Wegbeschreibungen und Informationen die Anreise erleichtert und stand in engem Kontakt zu uns. Stets hat man Sie und ihren Mann nach Auskunft und Tipps fragen können. Man sollte jedoch noch erwähnen, dass man die Küche nicht benutzen kann und somit auch keinen Zugang zu Kühlschrank etc. hat um eventuell gekühlte Lebensmittel aufzubewahren zu können. Das Airbnb können wir wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
Great stopover. Joan and Mike were more than helpful in anyway they could've be. Just don't let the cat out! 😂

We are just on the edge of town within walking distance of the Cinema, Restaurants, Shops, Supermarkets and the Pier. We are fairly quiet area and the room itself very quiet!
Easy to walk into town from our house, but there is a Bus Stop right outside our house, buses in all directions… Totnes, Brixham, Plymouth…Parking is free outside on the drive for a small car.

Well travelled myself, my husband and I are now retired but love to welcome guests into our beautiful home in Paignton. We have created our garden in the years we have been here in Paignton and enjoy growing a variety of plants a little more unusual which thrive in our soft and sunny climate.
