Just 100 yards from the beach, this light and airy detached bungalow is the perfect base for fun family holidays at West Bay. The property displays fresh modern decor complete with nautical touches, a wood burner for winter and pretty lawn garden for summer. With its iconic high cliffs, selection of eateries and shops, golf club and long beach stretching all the way to the Isle of Portland, West Bay offers something for everyone. Pick up some freshly-caught seafood in town before returning to the spacious kitchen/diner to enjoy your meal. Afterwards, hunker down on the comfortable sofas in the lounge for a relaxing evening watching the Smart TV or listening to your favourite music on the hi-fi and iPod dock while the wood burner glows away nearby. While away lazy afternoons with a good book in the sunny conservatory or fling open the French doors and enjoy a picnic in the garden. Three comfortable bedrooms (a double and two twins) offer the perfect place to rest your head when the day comes to an end. There is parking for two cars on the steep drive. Famous for its steep cliffs, picturesque harbour and shingle beach, West Bay offers plenty to see and do. The Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast, many breathtaking walks can be enjoyed from here, either along the South West Coast Path or the 18-mile-long Chesil Beach below. Children and adults alike will enjoy a spot of crabbing in the harbour or a visit to the amusement arcades before tucking into a hearty meal at one of the local pubs and cafes.
