This home has a fully stocked chef's kitchen, ample natural light, two living rooms, and a private hot tub to soak in after a day of adventuring on the mountain. Located at the base of Carter Park, it is the ultimate home base for your group. High-speed Wi-Fi and private parking are included. Slope-side Convenience: Carter Park is your backyard. A great place for tubing and sledding when there’s snowpack, and the ultimate hike in the summer. If you take the steps, you can scale the mountain and achieve epic views from the trail. There are numerous biking trails too. Check our photos for examples. You can catch an unforgettable sunset over the Ten Mile Range. At the base of Carter Park there is a volleyball court, a full pavilion with tables, a spacious field with a fenced-in dog park, and tennis courts. There are multiple shuttles stops in the area for the daily, free shuttle. Plus, you’re 4 blocks away from Main Street and the base of Peak 9 for year-round access to the resort. Living Room: The living room is enormous and features log beams for an authentic Colorado cabin ambiance, plus a statement floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace that is easy to flip on for instant coziness. There is a large flatscreen TV. There is a powder room on this level as well as access to the upper deck outside. Gourmet Kitchen: The fully-equipped, modern kitchen is a chef's dream, featuring top-of-the-line appliances such as a walk-in pantry, stainless steel refrigerator, two ovens, microwave, gas range, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster oven, and more. Bring the crew back in for lunch instead of eating on the mountain, and keep your breakfast favorites on hand to energize your mornings. Dinners are shared around the dining room table with seating for ten guests, and there’s additional bar seating on the oversized island. We also have a high-chair for you to use, as well as plenty of humidifiers and fans. Private Hot Tub: After a day on the mountain, soak in the private hot tub, while taking in the views. The loft has a perfect reading nook, we stock a small family library. There is also a large desk if you’re working remotely, featuring a window with a view. There is a lower level living room with a large wraparound couch and a flatscreen TV. This leads to the outer space of the home, which has a built-in private hot tub. In the upper deck, we have a table and chairs. This upper deck also features a large gas grill, and connects back to the living room. Primary Bedroom, the master suite: King-size bed under a vaulted ceiling, flatscreen TV, walk-in closet, flatscreen TV; plus an oversized ensuite bath, which includes double vanity sinks, a soaking tub, a separate commode, and a shower. Bedroom 2: Two twin-size beds, dresser with a flat screen TV, spacious closet, en-suite bath with shower tub combo and plenty of storage. Bedroom 3: Queen-size bed, mounted flat screen TV, two dressers, and a private balcony. This room also has a closet and en-suite bath. Bedroom 4: Two twin-size with a trundle underneath, dresser with a flatscreen TV, closet, en-suite bath with shower tub combo and plenty of storage. Bedroom 5: Queen-size bed, mounted flat screen TV, dressers, and a closet. Convenient Parking: The home offers ample parking for multiple vehicles, including a two-car private garage and more space in the driveway. We loved the house. Felt cozy and comfortable. Location was great. Amazing hot tub. TV room downstairs was enjoyed. Decks and views were gorgeous!!
AWD is recommended in the winter; Summit County can be very snowy. Plowing and shoveling typically start once 4” accumulate. Upon request, we may be able to provide additional snow removal.
There is space for 3 vehicles in the driveway and 2 in the private garage. Should you need additional parking, we can help find an extra spot upon request. There is a free shuttle stop located about a block away.
