If a little more action is the order of the day explore the water surrounded running tracks or ride along the flat cycle way to enjoy the many cafes and top restaurants of warners bay , or bring the boat or jet ski with ample parking With fishing rods and tackle supplied you could try your hand at landing that big one or settle in for the night and cook up a storm with the adequately supplied kitchen after carfully selecting your home grown herbs and produce from the backyard garden . The deep history of lake mac can be looked into from the mini library stocked with interesting local history books to fuel your desire to explore and lets not forget the famous hunter valley wineries are within coo weeeeeee of this beautiful location .

Overall, our stay at Mark's house was pleasant. The location was convenient and the amenities provided were satisfactory. However, we did notice that the cleanliness of the house could have been improved. There were some areas that needed more attention. Mark was very responsive and helpful throughout our booking process, which we appreciated.
We were very happy staying in Mark's place. Super friendly host, very accommodating and a really great place to stay. Mark made us feel right at home. Everything was as advertised - a very comfortable place to stay - nice bathroom, nice little kitchen, large table - good if you want to sit down and catch up with a bit of work as well. So all good for us and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. 10 out of 10.
The house was right next to the water…A very quiet area, There’s plenty of Eatery in the area,Mark was a great Host, with books available to read about Newcastle History with Beer on Balcony …. Well worth the Stay, Thank you Mark .

We’ve stayed in lots of Airbnb’s but I can honestly say that Mark was the best host we’ve had. Before check-in Mark made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. He was incredibly flexible and responsive. We loved staying here, the lake views were perfect. The beds were really comfortable and everything was so clean and tidy. We will definitely be back!

take a bike or a good long stroll along the waterside while listening to the gentle songs of the various local birdlife . The local main line train station is a brisk 15 min walk while taking in the views of the lake as you pass which can take you straight into the action of newcastle interchange if more excitement is the desire
