The Road Less Traveled, is a unique 1 Bedroom, Bath & kitchenette apartment centrally located within minutes to historic downtown New Bern, Neuse & Trent River, Area Beaches, Public River/Boat/Ramp Access/Hiking Trails/Parks & Convention Center, EWN Airport, Carolina East Medical Center, and MCAS gate. Enjoy water activities, golfing, historic sites, restaurants, breweries, parks, shops, & beaches. Internet & Cable TV, Private entry, patio, & garden. Great for solo travelers, business and remote workers, and extended stays. The Road Less Traveled is a private one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchenette and dining area apartment that is connected to our home. Guest have a private entrance, private side yard garden, back yard, pergola with dining tables and propane gas grill, and parking area. Guest will have the entire place to themselves. No shared spaces. There is a possibility of seeing other guests or myself coming and going in the parking area or the host feeding the Koi fish in the pond. Guests will enter through the side garden that leads to the back yard. There you will find your private entry beneath the grand pergola. Enter your personal entry code into the key-less entry pad to enter your private foyer and quests apartment. Our interior is an eclectic mix of coastal and oriental decor. The dining area has a table and seating for two. It is fully equipped with a kitchenette that has a small refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and Keurig single cup coffee maker. Coffee mugs, drinking glasses, flatware, utensils, hot pads, oven mitts, dish towels, paper towels, disposable plates, bowls and cups, salt, pepper, wine share, wine glasses, and bottle opener are provided. The bedroom has one full sized bed fully dressed with cotton sheets, quilt and four pillows, a dresser, a closet with hangers, extra linens and blanket, an iron and ironing board, a broom and dust pan, two wall mounted night shelves with sconces, luggage rack, chair and ceiling fan. The bathroom has a large ceramic tile walk in shower with a wall mounted hand held shower head, single vanity and toilet. Towels, wash clothes, hand towels, full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash, toilet tissue, hand soap, and cleaning supplies are provided. Extended stay guests will need to purchase their own toiletries once supply that host has provided is depleted. Central Air and Heat are controlled by the host. No thermostat within the unit. Guest will need to contact host for any temperature adjustments. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Generally the temperature for both air conditioning and heat are set at 74 degrees. Parking area, side yard garden, walking paths, pergola and entrance are all well illuminated. Free, off street parking for two vehicles is provided. Our No Pet Policy is health and safety related. Due to allergies, our yard not being fully fenced, and a well traveled highway nearby, our apartment does not provide as safe environment for your pet.
