The unit was lovely but the furniture was a little shabby and felt dirty. The building was DIRTY(vomit and urine in hallways) LONG waits for too few, poorly functioning elevators. Staff were unhelpful. Parking garage difficult to navigate and congested. Few attractions in walking distance and unsafe for walking anyway. Auto congestion on streets prohibitive for short trips; 1-2 hour drives to go 10 miles. MOBS of people- literally. Oppressive police presence for control (thankfully). Rip currents common- deadliest beach in Florida-water was closed off to the public for three of our four days. My teen kids wanted ONLY to play in surf and tan. They couldn’t do either because the beach was unfit for children. And we couldn’t really leave the condo otherwise. i.e..There were crowds gathered to watch sex acts in the sand, on the sidewalks…. Sail Away needs to make people aware of these spring break hazards.
