We had a great stay. It was friendly, very clean and cosy. Perfect location for access to the Tor, Springs, Chalice Gardens and town. We’d definitely recommend
We really enjoyed our stay at Sambogaya. Our hosts were really friendly and enabled us to feel right at home. We were able to use a large kitchen which had everything you could possibly need, including a great selection of teas we could help ourselves to. The bed was really comfy, the room was great and the bathroom was lovely, with a really good shower. The location was also perfect - a short walk to the shops and cafe's in Glastonbury and right behind the building are fields through which you can take a really pleasant walk to the Tor. We hope to come back soon!
We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back one day soon. Very clean and well equipped. Very friendly team and a beautiful garden
Very special place to stay. Location is super convenient, good space for parking and we slept so well!
Sambogaya is beautiful, it's obvious there has been a lot of thought put into the interiors to create a fantastic space full of beauty and wonderful energy. My room was super comfortable and it all felt a bit like home too. I loved the meditation offer in the mornings and appreciated the great coffee and other kitchen facilities. I'll be back for sure!
We are situated just 3 minutes walk from Glastonbury High Street, right beside the beautiful Bushy Coombe common at the base of the stunning Chalice Hill. Alongside our property you’ll find the Glastonbury Way footpath which takes you to the famous Glastonbury Tor. The walk will take you approximately 25 minutes.
The high street offers a vast selection of spiritual shops to explore, as well an abundance of cafes, restaurants and the local health food store Earth Fayre.
The Abbey Ruins at the bottom of the High Street are a must see, and for those of you who have come on a spiritual pilgrimage to seek the mysteries of these sacred lands, both Chalice Well gardens and The White Spring are a five to ten minute stroll away.
Other highlights are the Goddess Temple on the High Street and the Magdalene Chapel on Magdalene Street.
Local venues such as the Assembly rooms and The King Arthur offer a jamboree of colourful evening events and gigs, all within walking distance.
