✦ Charming turn of the century home ✦ 20 mins to Frankenmuth ✦ Event Space, Girls Weekend, Zen Retreat ✦ Massage Table, Sauna, Cold Plunge This is truly a unique home with an eclectic arrangement of furniture, textiles, taxidermy, print media, vinyl, glassware, and art from new and vintage artists, collected all over the world. Chat fireside with a glass of bourbon by the bearskin rug. Dine alfresco under bistro lights and use the outdoor fire feature to stay toasty. Work at a desk with free Wi-Fi and scanner/printer. Or have movie night on the extra deep fur lined couch. Relax on a massage table or recharge with an infrared sauna session. Turn it up a notch by following a sauna session with a cold plunge on the smoking porch. Massage appointments can be made three days in advance for an additional fee. For sleeping, each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. All bedrooms have high end mattresses and organic cotton sheets. Bathrooms are fully stocked with fresh towels, robes, slippers, hair dryers, and face masks. A true cook’s kitchen with commercial refrigerator and 10 burner gas range. The wine frig and liquor cellar are almost always full, and is restocked regularly on the honor system. Take a bottle, leave a bottle. Special requests for specific wine or spirits can be made upon request. Private accommodations in the Guest Room, Chef’s Quarters, and Servants Quarters can be arranged.

Artsy decor, lots of personality, history galore so much to see and talk about in home! Fireplace was awesome and beds were very comfy. I took my 4 daughters and we had soooo much fun. Fond memories. Kaisa was very accommodating and available. Met us at home and gave us a tour

Kaisa was wonderful to work with. Unfortunately she contacted us that morning on our way there and the heat was not working. When we first got there the plumber was working on it. Once we decided to get another place he was able to fix it. She was very accommodating and understanding, even offered us to stay for free. She and Airbnb reimbursed 100 percent charges. From what we were able to see, the living room had a lot of memorabilia from the past which was very interested to us.

This was not a great Airbnb experience. The host was very friendly and responsive when communicating. However, the listing/ pictures were not an honest representation of what I walked in to. I would personally not stay here again. The listing said there was a sauna, crib, & stated “the third floor ballroom is one of the coolest features of the house, but might be noisy for those sleeping below”. The “ballroom” was a cluttered attic with broken floorboards and even a dead bat on the floor. The sauna was completely busted- the door held only with duct tape and there were tools inside. The host never stated that this was out of commision at any point before or during my stay. The crib was not fit for a child’s safety, it was more of an antique decoration. Bathrooms were not clean- mold in the shower ceiling, one was completely deconstructed (toilet out of the ground, garbage bags in the bathtub). SO MANY MORE PROBLEMS! Wish I could attach pictures onto this review/ had more typing room.
