Located minutes walk from the historic centre of Gulgong, our Mayne St. cottage offers pet friendly accommodation in a beautiful heritage listed home. Two bedrooms in the main house have king & double beds, and our separate studio has a queen bed and its own little covered verandah. Our double block has beautiful garden surroundings to relax in and there’s a big verandah at the front to enjoy your morning coffee or watch the sunset. Linen and provided & full use of renovated kitchen & BBQ.

Very nice stay, dog friendly, easy access to all Gulgong has to offer.
Paul's place was spacious, comfortable and in quiet location. The little touches were appreciated, including a bottle of wine, milk in the fridge and espresso pods. Our dogs enjoyed the large enclosed back yard and Paul himself was communicative and kind. However, we did find the house to be a bit dusty. Otherwise, everything was great. Thanksl for the stay!

Fantastic place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Eat in with fully functional kitchen or it’s an easy walk to the local cafes, pubs, restaurants if you want to eat out. Plenty to keep you occupied on a rainy day too. 100% recommend this very lovely place, it was just like being at home with everything you might need.

The historic goldmining town of Gulgong is located 20 minutes from Mudgee and surrounded by wineries, bushwalking sites and the neighbouring towns of Kandos and Rylstone. The town centre is steeped in history where you can visit The Holtermann Museum, the Gulgong Gold Experience, the Pioneer’s Museum, the oldest still-operating opera house in Australia - The Prince of Wales Opera House, and you can also enjoy shopping and cafes in Gulgong or Mudgee.
Gulgong is approx. 2 hrs 20 mins from Katoomba, 4 hours from Sydney and 20 minutes from Mudgee.
There is some public transport from Lithgow but to really enjoy all that Gulgong, Mudgee and the Mid-Western Region offers with it’s wineries and nature you would need your own transport.
