tzongshii's place was a lifesaver when we experienced the 7.2 magnitude earthquake on 3/4. it was located in an aboriginal village near the inner mountains. it was fully equipped and very safe from the city where most of the damage was. other than lose items that fell from the quake, the structure was sturdy, strong and even had a front yard for us to shelter from the quake. we were able to extend our stay for another night as the trains were down for the day. tzongshii himself was a great host - from having to clean up the place himself, checking in on us during the earthquake, bringing us bottled water when he realised the water pipes had burst in the earthquake and constantly ensuring we were safe and well cared for. truly thankful for tzongshii and his hospitality! will certainly stay at his place again if we ever have the courage to return to hualien :)

居住環境非常好，晚上很安靜，適合早早休息的旅客。 屋內設施現代化，尤其廚具、衛浴，室內規劃簡單好用。 民宿老闆細心提醒注意事項卻不會給人壓力，讓人感到安心。

HIGHLY RECOMMEND ◡̈ The airbnb was so nice and clean. Felt really comfortable staying there for 3 nights. Toilet was equipped with bidet and it was really a plus point for my fiancé. Host was really friendly and super approachable. You can feel free to approach him if you need any recommendations at Hualien.

We enjoyed our stay here, the place was easy to find and clean when we arrived. The showers were good and beds were also very comfortable; the sheets felt clean and fresh. The host was also responsive when we needed any assistance. Overall a great stay and would recommend it to others visiting Hualien! :)
