A home away from home at this unique and tranquil getaway. This one-bedroom ensuite bedsit in the village of Histon is just 4 miles north of Cambridge City Centre and the Cambridge Science Park on Milton Road. It has a kitchenette fitted with a microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle, refrigerator and a washing machine in the bathroom. It has a dining table/ working top. The garden studio is fitted with a bed for two and a wardrobe. There is free parking and a separate entrance.

We overnighted with Shashi, and loved the super clean, well thought out space. Plenty of shelving and hooks in the bathroom to place personal items, which was a refreshing change and very welcome. Well equipped kitchen space with a thoughtful range of snacks and drinks, and a great selection of items for a continental breakfast, which was a welcome touch. Shashi really goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, and I would have no hesitation in staying again. Quiet, warm and a lovely dog to pat in the morning!
Lovely, peaceful spot convenient for visiting Cambridge. The bed was very comfortable and Shashi provided loads of breakfast choices! The friendly cat and dog were a bonus

The villages of Histon and Impington come under the same parish council. It has a Tesco extra along the High Street and a Coop. The village has two primary schools, a secondary school, 2 pharmacies, 6 pubs and 6 churches, and a scenic village green with a pond. Lots of amenities and places to eat out within the village itself.
You can get around the village on foot, the High Street is about 1.2km from the garden studio. To get into Cambridge, there is a No 8 stagecoach bus that takes 40 minutes to get to the City Centre. The Milton Park & Ride is a 10-minute drive away and 20 minutes to cycle, and it takes 10 minutes to get to Cambridge City Centre.
