we had such a great time at georgina and peter's place. scotland island is less remote than it feels, in the best way possible. fairly easy to get to but not something you can just drive up to and park so some pre-planning is required, including considering parking options and ferry timetables. once you're there the vibe and nature is peaceful and the hustle of Sydney melts away. booking the community vehicle to pick you up when arriving at the wharf is highly recommended too. the property itself was awesome - it was set up like a proper holiday house full of home comforts and all the basics you might need. especially important as theres no cafes or shops on the island. the rooms are comfortable and sizable and the bathroom and kitchen all work well and were super clean. the hosts themselves are pleasant to work with and very helpful. if georgina offers to cook i suggest you take her up on it! great meals that let us relax even more not having to cook for the group.

Scotland Island is a hidden Gem! So close to Sydney yet we felt we were miles away on a tropical island. There is something very cool about getting to the island by boat! (ferry easy on way home and we got a water taxi over…also v easy). Really great place! Thx for having us, we will be back w the kids!!

Our family of four had a great stay. This place is a real discovery. If you are not familiar with Pittwater and Scotland Island you are in for a treat. Access is via boat (water taxi or ferry) and once you get there you are in an beautiful, quiet bit of Australian paradise. Water views, surrounded by native bush and a beautiful garden. The House is very well set-up. Clean and super comfortable. There are lots of different spaces to relax in (indoors and outdoors). The separate house worked really well - we put our kids in there - it's close enough but also nicely distanced and has bunk beds, a TV, a double bedroom and bathroom. The set up with the two spaces would really well for two families. It's great for relaxing (no cars) you get around by boat! We just loved it and can't wait to go back for another longer stay. Peter and Georgina were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
