The hosts welcome you to Celebrate & Stay at Casa Caliche. Our villa offers a flat on the lower ground floor (double room, bunkbed room, living room, private bathroom and a double room on the second floor (double and single bed, private bathroom and shared living room). This accommodation setup can accommodate 10 guests. We can further accommodate 6 extra guests (4 guests in the camper van and 2 guests on a sofa bed in the living room) bringing the total to 16 guests. Casa Caliche is a private villa located in a gated residential area with 24/7 security surveillance, its just 17 minutes from Madrid’s international airport and 22 minutes from the city. The property has a fenced garden stretching over 2500m2 of land, swimming pool, roofed/partially roofed terraces, patios, dinning areas, onsite parking, hammocks, oak trees, and a relaxing lounge area to view the sunsets/mountain views. It’s the perfect place to relax, find peace and quiet after a long day of work/business, long driving trip, flight layover, discovering the city/surrounding areas and to spend time with your family, friends or yourself. The hosts have opened up their home to also offer a holistic range of specialties ranging from Aromatherapy to Zumba classes (please refer to “Other things to note”). There is also a possibility to host your special event at Casa Caliche, for example weddings, retreats, celebrations, barbecues, swimming get togethers, etc (please request by contacting the hosts via the Airbnb platform or check the direct listing in our Airbnb profile). Every guest is unique and we strive to make your experience memorable and tailored to meet your specific needs and desires. Its not only the accommodation, its also the experience!

Urbanizacion Ciudalcampo is a gated residential area with 24/7 security surveillance (single security check point to enter/exit, patrol cars, day/night time video surveillance), an 18 hole golf course, sports complex, footpaths/bike trails, private villas and a local shopping mall. Its located in a natural, peaceful, quiet setting and well connected to the city centre (public transport, taxi, Uber/Cabify/FreeNow, car rental, private car, public transport, even by bicycle if you are up for it!). About 3km away there is shopping mall with (and not limited to) a bakery, butcher, supermarket, fruit/vegetable shop, beauty saloons, bars, restaurants, newsstand, gym, tennis/paddle courts, pharmacy, postal office, medical centre, banks, church, etc. Please refer to our guidebooks and/or an online maps app to check for additional services, attractions, etc in the neighbouring areas. Various food delivery companies reach our property including Just Eat, Glovo, Uber Eats, etc.
There are numerous walking and bike trails around the property that connect surrounding areas but also the countryside. An internal bus service (its called 8 Circular Ciudalcampo) operates inside the residential area. Diana & Wilfried would like to welcome you to Casa Caliche! I, Wilfried, managed 2 Coffee Export companies in Honduras - Central America, now more than 25 years ago. After a refreshing MBA at INSEAD in 1986, a few challenging positions with multinationals followed. In September 1990 we moved to the Madrid area. Since 1994 I am active in Wealth Management and from 1999 as an independent broker, advising private clients on their financial matters. We live in our home, Casa Caliche, since March of 2000. I am thoroughly enjoying the nature around us and appreciate the tremendous comfort of being so close to Madrid. I am sure you will perceive that my wife, Diana is a fantastic host. I have over 34 years of real life experience .. and suggest you come visit our B&B and get a taste of it. I, Diana, started and managed Alitalia GSA-Honduras operations, enjoyed and loved working as a tour conductor in Florence, working for several other airlines and travel agencies in Honduras. Travelling has been a gift, my personal background has been airports, planes, interesting people & places around the world. My inner strength comes from people and different cultures, with different lifestyles, these experiences altogether, have been enriching to me. I have studied Fashion & Costume Design, Trans-personal Psychology in the countries where I have lived. I am very passionate about PR, walking, helping people feel comfortable & relaxed, window shopping in order to be up to date with fashion, informing and making reservations for our guests in the Madrid Community & naturally enjoy being a helpful host to my guests. Our home is fully decorated with handicrafts from different countries; there is a story behind every object. We have created a micro world in an area where nature's beauty gives us joy and tranquility, however, if we feel like having "Spanish Tapas", Madrid is reachable in about 20 minutes. The Madrid area is beautiful, our green Madrid has so much to offer: theaters, museums, flamenco dance, ballet, musicals, parks, mountains, cute villages, cultural events, local markets, sports facilities, fantastic restaurants, concerts, bars, historical monuments, festivals, etc.
