What a beautiful house full of interesting features, history and character. The beautiful garden with large trees and outdoor area was a highlight. The perfect place for our group to base ourselves to explore some North Canterbury vineyards. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated. We enjoyed walking along the river and relaxing in the house.

Was a great place for 10 women golfers, very comfortable and had plenty of space to spread out. The decor suited the age of the house. Nice outdoor area with a hot tub and pool. We were welcomed with a nice basket of goodies and a loaf of home made bread. The host was very helpful and easy to deal with. Would highly recommend to any large groups.

The ideal tonic to a busy day at work. Our team loved the location and the space at this property. Nothing was a hassle for our host and literally everything exceeded our expectation. We plan to rebook!

A beautifully presented, relaxed and generous space with great amenities and lots of options for bigger groups/families. Perfect for our family reunion. Easy access to the airport, great walking from the property and a good coffee shop close by. Thoughtful touches from the hosts.

What a unique and huge house! House looks wonderful and modern from the outside but retains much of its 1930s charm. The rooms are all huge and you could easily fit several families. The grounds are expansive and we enjoyed the greenery, playing hide and seek, swinging off the tree, visiting the grumpy old sheep and lots of swimming. Top kitchen. Easy drive to chch. And rare to find a house with a room sized 1930s era chubb vault inside!
