Inside the house itself, you’ll find that the interiors are stylish throughout. There’s plenty of storage, starting with the entrance hallway where you can hang all coats and leave all boots and shoes. From there, guests go through to the vast open-plan living space, which is fantastic for socialising. The kitchen area is well equipped with plenty of work surfaces for creating feasts for your trip, while the lounge is a great area for kicking back and relaxing. There’s a Smart TV but you can also look through to the terrace area and grounds beyond through the large patio doors. Off the lounge area are the bedrooms. One has a super-king-size zip-and-link for flexible sleeping arrangements. It also has patio doors to the terrace, making it bright and light. The next two bedrooms also have super-king-size zip-and-link beds so you can pick and choose how the rooms are made up. These two rooms have their own en-suites and doors to the patio. The patio area has garden furniture for al fresco dining. The property’s location on the Cornwall/Devon border, near Plymouth, means there is still plenty to do when you leave the estate. Plymouth, for instance, is just 12 miles away and has so much to offer. Those that like walking can wander the estate’s 450 acres, but the nearby Tamar Valley is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so also worth a visit.
