Lakeside Haven is a lake front cabin located on a small residential lake. Enjoy fresh air, the sounds of nature and great lake views, while relaxing on the spacious deck, patio, or lower dock. Lakeside Haven is an ideal location for a family getaway or personal retreat. The wood burning fireplace makes Lakeside Haven a cozy year around sanctuary This cabin is located on a spacious lot next to the dam. This is a private residential lake and some of the residents live here year around. Enjoy your meals on the large patio table, or your morning coffee on the dock. Multiple seating areas and a fire pit are provided for your use. You are welcome to use the kayak and life vests as well. Feel free to use the gas grill but adequate propane cannot be guaranteed.

Loved everything about my stay.
This is a neat, quiet area on a peaceful little lake. Nicely furnished and updated. Lots to do nearby. We were not there long, but would stay there again.
Beautiful and peaceful. If you are wanting a place to get away from it all and a wonderful host included, this is it. It was a last minute trip over Thanksgiving due to some crummy circumstances and the stay was a perfect getaway from it all. My only complaint was that I couldn’t stay longer. We will definitely be back for longer to explore! The host is very helpful and went above and beyond in making us feel welcome.

All these cabins/homes on the lake are privately owned. Residents enjoy the quiet, peaceful character of the lake.
Our cabin is approximately 3 miles west of Abilene and is located between I-70 and Old 40 Highway--coming in from either way will get you here. A short part of your drive will be on a sand road. There are many restaurant and eating options in Abilene that are suggested in our info at the cabin. (It only takes about 5 minutes to get back into town from our cabin.) If you want even more eating and shopping options, Salina is about 25 minutes away, which is to the west. We are about 45 minutes from Manhattan/K-State, which is to the east. (Many of these local recommendations are also listed in the online guidebook.)
