This delightful cottage sits along the edge of the River Nith, one of Scotland’s most prolific salmon fishing locations and offers spectacular scenery to relax within. Located within the grounds of a traditional country house, one of a hamlet of holiday lets, it is a contemporary-styled retreat for up to four guests and perfectly placed to make the best of the natural surrounding area. Families and couples travelling together are sure to enjoy its convenience to plenty of local attractions, quaint surroundings, favourable placement near amenities and the vast array of walking trails that can be tackled directly from your doorstep. Upon entering from the shared garden, you’ll find yourselves in the spacious hallway, which is where you’ll also find the utility room, a handy space for muddy boots and for coats to be stored away. The contemporary open-plan kitchen and living area is very spacious and – due largely to its large feature skylight – bright and airy too. The kitchen offers all you need to cater for yourselves comfortably, before retiring to the lounge area for a good dose of rest and relaxation. The property boasts two well-appointed bedrooms, one with a super-king-size bed and one twin bedroom, both stylishly decorated. There is also a modern family shower room with WC. To the front of the property is a large shared lawn with benches which overlook the picturesque River Nith, so you can sit back and take in the views or perhaps even enjoy a picnic on the lawn. Guests also have access to the restaurant and bar located within the country house hotel.
