Wake up to the sound of waves rolling into shore in this beachfront holiday home in Tywyn. The property sleeps four guests and makes the perfect bolthole for couples and small families seeking a traditional seaside getaway. Stroll out of your front door and onto the golden sands of Tywyn Beach, or head into the town to explore the excellent collection of independent shops and eateries. The town sits on the edge of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), offering exceptional walking opportunities. The bright and breezy retreat has a reverse-level layout and is decorated in coastal tones to complement the surrounding landscape. The two inviting double bedrooms and the family bathroom are on the ground floor, and upstairs you’ll find a stunning, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with far-reaching sea views. Spend time here, cooking up a storm in the sleek kitchen area and sharing delicious meals at the dining table. After dinner, unwind on the comfortable sofa to watch the Smart TV, or head out onto the south-facing balcony with a sundowner. There is also a sunny patio at ground level, to the front of the property. The delightful coastal town of Tywyn has a fabulous, sandy beach, backed by a long promenade. Enjoy sunset strolls here, followed by a hearty meal in one of the town’s many pubs or restaurants. The Wales Coast Path passes through the town, and you can follow it to the picturesque seaside village of Aberdovey/Aberdyfi, which is known for its fantastic array of water sports and championship golf course. Heading inland, you’ll find a myriad of walking trails within Eryri National Park, including through the magnificent peaks of Cadair Idris (13 miles).
