This traditional home in the quiet village of Docking has been beautifully renovated and extended, making it a wonderful spot for a holiday. You’ll have a pub and a shop within 1 mile and the pristine beaches of the Norfolk Coast Area of Natural Beauty are just 5 miles away. Culture and history buffs will love visiting local attractions like Houghton Hall (7 miles) and the Sandringham House and Estate, which is an 8-mile drive away. The charming accommodation welcomes parties of up to seven plus two dogs, making it ideal for a family holiday. Upon entering this spacious cottage, you'll immediately notice its homely and welcoming atmosphere, achieved through tasteful artwork on the walls and carefully chosen soft furnishings. On the ground floor, sink into one of two large plush sofas and lose yourself in a film or series on the Smart TV. A wood burner, housed within an attractive exposed brick fireplace, sets you up for cosy evenings when it’s chilly outside. Cook up yummy meals in the kitchen and sit down to chatty dinners at the dining table, located within the extension out the back. The spacious garden is equipped with garden furniture so you can dine alfresco and or enjoy fresh-air cocktails once the children have gone to bed. This space is enclosed, so your dog will be safe to roam freely. Ready for some sun, sea and sand? You’re conveniently close to the wonderful Brancaster Beach (5.5 miles), where you can sunbathe and swim or partake in water sports like kite surfing and paddleboarding. Make a beeline for Norfolk Lavender farm (5.5 miles) if you’re a fan of the fragranced purple flowers, of which there around 50 varieties for you to discover. For a quiet afternoon of pottering, head to one of the many market towns nearby, like Burnham Market (5.5 miles) or Fakenham (12 miles) for a slice of traditional Norfolk life.
