We stayed 2 nights at this peaceful retreat and didn't want to leave! We especially loved the vaulted ceiling and sun room. We slept in the double bed in the back room, which was very comfortable and had a great view of the serene backyard. This is a real home, not a rental property, with books and art and plants. Note that there is no microwave, so plan accordingly. It was quiet and felt very private. There is an amazing waterfall and and active beaver pond a few minutes away. Highly recommended stay!

Conveniently located. Quiet & private yet easy ride into town. Quaint cottage in the woods. Hosts were friendly and easy to deal with. Excellent hosts.

We were very pleasantly surprised with how lovely and comfortable Jack’s house was. It’s even nicer than the photos. It was easy to feel at home. Had what we needed in the kitchen to make some meals. Comfortable beds and a big fireplace. We will definitely stay here again when visiting family in the area.

Jack’s place is cozy as described, and it feels very private in a hilly wooded area with a pond nearby. The fireplace and custom furniture made for a perfect weekend of simple relaxation.
