Positives:- beautifully furnished/presented Villa. Direct beach access is amazing. Anne ( The concierge) and Deborah our chef were absolutely amazing. Could not fault them. They literally could not do enough for us. Peaceful and quiet day and night. Holetown has some wonderful restaurants and bars. Negatives:- The nearest shops for groceries and supplies are between 10 and 15 minutes walk. Not as advertised. we paid for a completely private villa. It was not completely private. There is a building in the garden where the cleaners and maintenance staff come every single morning to look after the adjoining villas. They arrived in the early hours of the morning before the concierge had arrived at 9 am. This raised alarms about the security. Low and behold. We had over US$400 stolen from a bag we left on the settee. There were three workers on the grounds at the time of the theft. Blue sky:- The staff reacted very quickly. They stopped all workers coming on site before 9 am (although the occasional workers still come through). they are not allowed to stop them as the Villa is on the grounds of a parish church. Therefore all villas can have access. police were called and a report was filed. We heard no more. Blue sky offered alternative accommodation. We decided to stay because we had completely unpacked, we’re tired and blue sky had agreed to completely remove people on the site before 9 am. Would we book this villa again? NO. The only reason being, an Open Plan Villa with bifold doors on 3 sides, opening to the gardens just did not feel secure with people wondering around. We paid good money for a private villa that was not private. ps multiple people had access to the electric gate codes. We were not comfortable about this after the police interviewed the staff for fear of repercussions. Nothing happened however.
