During the day, let the kids work off some steam in the complex’s indoor swimming pool (April-October) or head off to Rhossili Bay to marvel at its three-mile stretch of golden sand. In the evening, come home to the cottage’s shared lawn, pour yourself a glass of something cool and crisp and wait for the stars to come out while the kids have a little fun at the site’s play park. Step inside and you’ll find a spacious hallway leading you to a light and bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. Make yourself at home in the lounge area before moving to the quaint kitchen area to whip up some dinner for your loved ones. Enjoy an informal dinner in the sociable dining area, or step out onto the shared lawn area and enjoy an al fresco meal. After dinner, head to the shared games’ room with the kids, or take a dip in the shared hot tub. At the end of the day, the two welcoming bedrooms await you - a stylish double and a welcoming twin. Spend a fun day at the Gower Heritage Centre (6.5 miles). Take a look at its working 12th century water powered mill, check out a craft workshop or visit the animals on the farm. Alternatively, stroll along Mumbles Promenade (13 miles), often referred to as the ‘Gateway to Gower’. Browse the unique boutiques, relax over a cup of tea or treat yourself to some fish and chips.
