Devon is known for its beautiful family seaside destinations and Westward Ho! showcases this to a tee! This impressive contemporary beach house is ideal for families looking for a superior experience close to a beach and local amenities. Westward Ho!'s two miles of golden sandy beach and access to Northam Burrows Country Park are less than half a mile away and for water sports enthusiasts, the North Devon Surf School is on the doorstep. Keen golfers can walk to the Royal North Devon Golf Club (1 mile) and play a round. This attractive two-storey house has a reverse-level design, so you can receive the full benefit of the panoramic sea views and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets on offer over the Atlantic Ocean. On the ground floor you will find three bedrooms, all decorated in soothing tones and a with coastal theme. There is a king-size room with en-suite shower room, a twin room, and a room with mid sleeper bunk beds, one of which has French doors leading out to the garden. There is also a stylish and contemporary family bathroom on the ground floor. Head upstairs and enter a sociable open-plan living/kitchen/dining room with Smart TV and a kitchen where you can prepare your favourite holiday meals. Bi-fold doors lead out onto a balcony that spans the width of the house, letting in cool breezes as you look out over the sea and nature reserve. A king-size bedroom with a Jack and Jill en-suite shower room and doors to the bedroom and living area completes this wonderful seaside property. Outside is an enclosed and sheltered landscaped garden, perfect for alfresco dining. A lovely, decked area with outdoor sofas is a great place for family barbecues or a quiet moment reading a book. If you tire of the beach or walking along the beuatiful South West Coast Path to pretty villages like Instow and Appledore, hop in the car and drive 12 miles to Barnstaple to reach the Tarka Trail, which is ideal for walkers and cyclists alike or visit the beautiful gardens at RHS Rosemoor (11.5 miles).
