Centrally located in the heart of New Harbor, this beautiful home has everything you need to enjoy your time on Block Island. Rent it seperately or combine it with Unit B for an even larger space. This is the ONLY house in the commercial disctrict of New Harbor, yet it is surrounded by conservation land. This means you'll be less than a 10-minute walk to all attractions, but you'll have the peace and quiet of Island life as you take in the sunset over the water from your spacious deck.

Carmen & Kevin’s home was an absolutely fantastic stay. The view was incredible. The house was extremely clean with all the comforts of home. They took the time to label drawers of the fully stocked kitchen and useful instruction posted where needed. Carmen was extremely responsive and patient with my many inquiries regarding our visit to Block Island. My parents would take us by boat to Payne’s Dock many years, so I took my parents here with the whole family for their 50th wedding anniversary so it was great to stay at another Payne’s owned property. It was ideally located with a short walk to all main areas…. Bars, restaurants, park with playground and skate park for the kids. Could not ask for a more peaceful retreat with so much life in walking distance making the home the perfect vacation rental. We plan to make this a yearly trip. Highly recommend renting both A & B units if traveling with a large group or for adult children which in our case, was perfect!!!
this was a great decision for us. we enjoyed this place tremendously. Nobody wanted to leave. Kevin was a great host.
Really enjoyed our stay in Block Island in early May. The fireplace was a treat on the colder days. Carmen and Kevin were fantastic communicators and could not have been any more responsive to a few minor concerns. Happy renters!

New Harbor is considered the quieter part of Block Island. There is plenty to do, but you won't have to deal with the crowds in town. This home is in the perfect location for boating, fishing and just hanging out. It is located right across the street from the Summer's Farmers Market. You will be less than a 10 minute walk to top restaurants, marinas, kayaking, bike rental, and the famous Payne's Killer Donuts. Have children? The house is steps away from the Island's only playground. Crescent Beach is approximately 1 mile away, and the center of town is about 1.5 miles.
Free parking is provided, but ferry reservations go fast. If you choose not to bring your car, there is bike, moped and car rental within walking distance. There are also plenty of taxis on the Island. Many people choose to walk and the sidewalk in front of the house leads right to town and beyhond.
