This window into nature hide away is a great base for four season adventure! THE CHALET AREA: Seasonal Peninsula Lake/forest view nestled in the Hidden Valley forested neighbourhood that enjoys all that Muskoka has to offer. The combination of Peninsula Lake, Ski Hidden Valley, multiple golf courses, the town of Huntsville's many amenities, plus nearby Arrowhead and Algonquin Provincial Parks. Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve, has free access, all year round. Hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoe trails make for stunning views and access to endless activities. WHAT IS IN YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME: Our chalet has everything you need and nothing you don't. You'll have access to a private driveway to park your vehicle. Check yourself into the home with a keypad door code. Sleep soundly and rest easy on a queen bed (upper loft) or chose between the lake room, (double plus bunk bed) or golf room (double bed) with fresh linens and comfy pillows. You'll have AC/HEAT. WIFI. and large windows so nature is in view. THE KITCHEN: Make your favourite meals in a fully equipped kitchen with glass top stove, convection oven & microwave. Fridge including ice maker, filtered water dispenser, dishwater, cutlery & crockery, cookware, oil, salt & pepper, Nespresso, French press or Drip coffee options, limited coffee and tea supplies. LUXURY BATHROOM: Enjoy a hot shower, in floor heating, & bath towels in this contemporary bathroom. You can also enjoy biodegradable body-soap, shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper provided. STEP OUTSIDE: Enjoy an inviting HOT TUB, tucked away in Muskoka rock niche. Robes and slippers are included. There is a BBQ for cooking and fire pit with traditional Muskoka chairs. Limited firewood and fire starters are provided, but for longer stays please bring your own. Gorgeous outdoor table and chairs, under huge umbrella, Infinity deck edging the forest for sundowners. SHARED BEACH ACCESS At the bottom of our hill, a 5 minute walk, (access is also available by driving which takes 2 minutes) is the private community beach (beach pass access provided) on Peninsula lake for the Hidden valley residents and guests. The beach has a sandy bottom, volleyball area, picnic tables and chairs in the summertime. Winter activities abound so bring your skates and take advantage of the skating rink on the lake in January & February, or skate through the magical forest at Arrowhead (weather permitting) during their fire and ice nights. SKI IN/OUT In the wintertime, the Hidden Valley Highland Ski Hill for skiing & snowboarding terrain park is easy and accessible from this cottage (5 min drive, 10 min walk). Check website daily for updates. Ski Rentals and Tickets can be purchased on-site or on-line. GOLF Golf (5 min drive) - Deerhurst Highlands, and Grandview Mark O Meara Links golf courses.
