The room is pretty tired and outdated. Private pool was small and pretty average Not much to do at the hotel itself and had to use the amenities of hotels close by. Hotel and the grounds not well maintained. ( Trash and dirty diapers right outside the room ). Despite its location and being far away from the town itself, we could still hear the noise of the night life. Hotel Check in at 14:00 however I was only allowed to check in at 15:00 after a 16 hour journey. There was a heatwave during our stay however we were only allocated 1 litre of bottled water to share between 2 adults. We couldnt get hot water and had cold showers during our stay. The cleaning lady opened our room door while my husband was changing, she didn't bother to knock and wait for a response first.

I was sold an ocean view, front corner room with two walls of glass sliders, for $120 per night. Figured the view I would wake up to in the morning was well worth the money. Upon check in, I immediately noticed we were in the wrong room. The bed in the room faced AWAY from the ocean to two regular plaster walls and had a single slider door FACING THE HOTEL BUILDING NOT THE BEACH AT ALL! This appeared to be like the other rooms that were listed for $66 per night with one slider. I told the staff we had been placed in the incorrect room and showed pictures of our reservation. They told me the pictures listed were “old photos” but I could see the room listed at the front of the hotel. When I called their bluff, they then said “that room has already been reserved.” To which I asked, “why were we sold the room if it’s already been reserved?” They told me to “file a complaint with Airbnb.” I filed for a partial refund + false advertisement. I got a 30% back & that’s not nearly enough. BS!!

One of the best rooms I’ve stayed in for its location - literally on the beach!! A plunge pool shared with 2 other rooms overlooking the beach with a decking area. BIG room with large bed and double seater couch and 2 chairs with a good sized table. Kitchen enough for what is needed and bathroom was spacious - especially the walk-in shower! Gilles was very responsive when needed and provided clear instructions throughout. This room is the corner so you get the advantage of having side windows for extra light / views and also being furthest away from check-in and restaurant so quieter too. All in, great stay and would recommend thanks!
