We are 650m from the infamous 7th St. The main bedroom has a King size bed. The second bedroom has a single bed & workspace. There is a spiral staircase in the lounge area, which has a single sleeper couch . Kitchen fully equipped. Outdoor BBQ / Braai No need to travel far to experience the bohemian vibey essence of Melville. The local bars, restaurants, and shops are within 650m walking distance from your place of stay. Hiking and cycling trails are on your doorstep. Melville has always attracted students and academics and has, for many years, been the favoured neighbourhood for the city's writers, artists, performers and poets. Established in 1896 on the edge of the rocky Melville Koppies, this once sleepy and old-fashioned suburb is a colourful neighbourhood with a friendly atmosphere. For peace of mind, we have street CCTV camera's outside of the property, with electrified fencing, along with providing our guests with a panic button in case of emergencies. There is secure parking available for one car, that is suitable for small to medium size vehicles, and there is street parking also available outside of the property. The house is also equipped with a portable gas stove and rechargeable lights for loadshedding. For those that enjoy playing music there is a rechargeable Bluetooth radio/fan speaker available, which will keep your tunes going when the lights go out. When the sleeper couch is being used, there will be a clothing rail with hangers made available for the duration of your stay . As a welcoming gesture, we provide a braai/BBQ kit to get your first cosy night by the fire going and, if you have a special occasion, we can provide rose petals, bubbly etc. Just reach out and we will create the magic!
